Public Health Bill
The Public Health Bill was introduced into the House on 21 November. The Health Select Committee has now reported back on the Bill.
The next stages in the consideration of the Public Health Bill is for the House to conduct the second reading, Committee of the Whole and the third reading. No dates are available for these debates - check the House order paper, published each sitting day.

NZ Env Hlth Wiki Established
The NZIEH has set up a wiki* Environmental Health Knowledge. Use it to share your knowledge and/or experience for others to benefit from. One way of doing this is by posting the outcome of a discussion you may have generated on the Institute's email group HealthProtect.
*A wiki is an easy-to-use website with pages that many people can edit together. It's kind of like Wikipedia, but just for specific interest groups
