We seek an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join this team who will bring their expertise, patience and customer driven approach to help drive the team's business and deliver liveable, thriving and connected communities - our Councils Vision.
The ideal applicant will have a broad range of experience in environmental health/ food technology and be eligible to be recognized by MPI to verify food control plans and national programmes. You would ideally be suitable for appointment as a Food Safety Officer under the Food Act 2014.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent customer relationship and communication skills, pay attention to detail and manage your time and work effectively. Your ability to interpret and understand legislation particularly knowledge of the Health Act, Food Act, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and Resource Management Act is essential.
While it is envisaged that the successful applicant will be based in our Ngaruawahia office, there is potential to work from our Tuakau office. In recognition for the skills and experience you will bring to Council, a competitive salary is offered.
