Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill a multifaceted role in ensuring compliance with environmental health legislation and addressing some community health concerns. As an Environmental health Officer, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our people and community from environmental health impacts.


Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor compliance and enforce Environmental Health related legislation to ensure the health and well- being of our community.

- Conduct verifications of food businesses operating under registered Food Control Plans and National Programmes to assess compliance with the Food Act 2014.

- Provide coaching and guidance to food operators regarding Food Act requirements and registration procedures.

- Investigate and respond to food safety and suitability complaints as a recognized Food Safety Officer.

- Undertake inspections under the Health Act 1956 and investigate cases of statutory nuisance to abate conditions related to the nuisance.

- Comply with the CPD reporting requirements to maintain recognition as a verifier under the Food Act 2014
