About the role
We are currently seeking an Environmental Health Officer to join our team, based Martinborough—a region celebrated for its award-winning wine, artisan food, and lively calendar of community events. This role offers the perfect blend of professional challenge and lifestyle appeal.
You’ll be part of a small team who is responsible for a wide range of environmental health functions, including food licensing, licensing under the Health Act 1956, liquor licensing, and managing environmental issues such as trade waste, noise monitoring, infectious diseases, and bylaw enforcement. You’ll also play a key role in health promotion initiatives and provide education and advice to the public on environmental health and licensing matters.
